My daughter and I stayed for a night (I genuinely wish it had been a week) and we can't speak highly enough of Ed and his lovely daughter. The property itself is stunning (with a really interesting history), welcoming and has everything you could want/need while staying. We had a large first floor room overlooking the garden and sea - and luckily it was summer with loooong hours of daylight, as I could hardly drag myself away from the window. The bed is super comfortable, the amenities are top-class, and the home-cooked (with local ingredients) breakfast was truly amazing. Ed is a wealth of local knowledge and enthusiasm, and with his directions we had lovely walk to the local pub for dinner. - Alison G
