Guest facilities at Kiltearn

Kiltearn House is located on the foreshore of Cromarty Firth, 1.5 miles from the village of Evanton which is situated off of the A9, 17 miles north of Inverness.

The house is surrounded by mature gardens with big old trees and shrubs. There is comfortable wooden garden furniture for relaxing on those sunny days. When the weather is suitable, breakfast can be taken outside or in the conservatory.

With only 5 bedrooms plus the self-catering apartment, guests can enjoy peace and quiet and get away from the stresses of everyday life. From the time you walk through the front door into the magnificent hallway you can start to soak up the tranquillity of the house. There are fabulous views from all around the house, both from inside and outside.

Guest Lounge
The lounge has a relaxing atmosphere for a bit of peace and quiet at any time of the day. Snuggle in one of the cosy chairs and plan your itinery with a little inspiration from our guidebooks. Read about the local history and other points of interest.

Wi-Fi
A complimentary wireless network runs throughout the house for your convenience. We have printing and photocopying facilities if required.

Breakfast
A hearty continental or cooked breakfast is included in the cost of your stay. In the spring and summer months, breakfast is served in the conservatory.

Alcohol
Kiltearn Guest House is fully licenced

Midge-free zone! 
We are fortunate to be able to enjoy the summer months clear of the infamous Scottish midge.

Parking
We have ample car parking space to the front of the property. On arrival you will see car parking signs for each bay- this is to ensure cars are parked in such a way that the area can be used to its maximum capacity. If you have a van or other large vehicle, it is possible to park a little further up the road on a public car park if necessary. We cannot accept liability for any damage or theft to vehicles.

Check-in time is generally after 4pm. We ask that guests depart their room for 10am on the day of their departure.
