I'm sure the picture below of a man skiing wearing only his summer shorts isn't a sight you often get to see on the slopes, right? Mind you it was 21 degrees on the CairnGorm Mountains so who can blame him?!...

Ashley and I decided to make the most of our day off last Thursday, so we went to visit the famous Loch Ness in search of the monster! It's an easy 45 minute drive from Kiltearn House to the village, where we stopped at The Bothy for lunch and then booked an hour long powerboat trip at Cruise Loch Ness....
